Open: Clinical and Translational Science Pilot Awards

In support of the Consortium for Translational and Precision Health mission, we are excited to announce the CTS Pilot Award Program, designed to propel clinical and translational science forward by tackling the key scientific, operational and administrative roadblocks in the research pipeline. This program seeks innovative projects that will drive breakthroughs, making research more efficient and impactful. The program provides $50,000 in support of a six-month project.

We encourage projects that focus on:

  • Developing new research methodologies, technologies, or tools to enhance research efficiency
  • Creating strategies to include understudied populations in research
  • Early-stage development of therapies or technologies that address key translational challenges
  • Demonstrating how new methods or tools can improve the research process
  • Sharing effective tools, processes, and training to benefit the broader research community

Interested in submitting a proposal?

Learn more about eligibility and proposal requirements on the CTS Pilot Award Program page. The deadline for submission is October 30 at 5 p.m. (CDT).

You can learn more about this opportunity at the upcoming info session. If you’re unsure if your project aligns with translational science, email a brief description to ctph@bcm.edu by Thursday, October 10, and we’ll provide guidance.
